First Communion Information
First Communion will be Saturday, June 13th at 10:00am
We will be limiting those in attendance to family members ONLY.
Due to the restrictions from the Diocese we are only allowed to have a maximum of 135 people in the church. After I have subtracted the priest, deacon, altar servers and other necessary individuals, each child may only have 5 family members in attendance. I am very sorry to have to put this restrictions on this very important day but with the COVID 19 restrictions we all have to follow, I have no choice. I will be giving out “tickets” at the rehearsal.
Everyone will be required to enter and exit through the front doors only, partial due to the need to count everyone and also due to the fact that the church has to be sanitized after every service and this helps minimize the surfaces we have to wipe down. The Bishop is asking that we all wear masks at any Mass, the First Communion children will be exempt from that restriction.
I hope you all understand the necessity for these precautions. If you have any questions, please let me know.
I hope all of our parishioners understand and will keep the children and their special day in your prayers.
